When i skateboard i want to ride one way and do tricks the other please help?

when i ride a skateboard i put my right foot up top and left foot to push and then on the back of the board but when i do a trick standing still i put my left foot up front and right foot behind me im a begginner to so and i ride good the way i ride but its feels wierd trying to do a trick say like and ollie so please help me
