Why does EVERYBODY hate Ben Affleck?

Really. Was it a fad? Because once, upon a time, back in 1998 a little movie called ARMA-F**KING-GEDDON came out, and everyone thought he was the bomb in those days (not that he measured up to Bruce Willis, by any means). So what happened? Okay, he made Pearl Harbor and Daredevil, but it wasn't HIS fault that the movies weren't incredible. Have you guys seen Chasing Amy? Jersey Girl? He directed Gone Baby Gone. All three really great performances on his part. So, tell me, why has he become such a joke? Just to clarify, I'm not saying he's the new Marlon Brando, or even as great as Matt Damon. But with that being said, he doesn't SUCK, like everyone makes him out to. What's up with this? Is his People magazine time just over? What is it?
