How can you honestly call yourself a Christian if you don't believe the Catholic Faith?

Without Catholicism, there would be no bible, and with no bible, what would you non-Catholic "Christians" base your beliefs off of? All of the traditions and extra-biblical teachings are derived from Catholicism, so how can you call yourself a Christian and not be a part of the Catholic Church?
