Can anyone tell me how to raise pigs?

I feed my pigs hog grower either mash or pellets. I start giving them about two to tree cups each a day twice a day mixed with water and see how it goes from there. If they leave feed behind I reduce the quantities if they have finished it I give them a little more. I supplement there feed with any kitchen scraps I would usually put in the compost heap. You can even give them meat scraps because they are omnivores put I prefer not to. I slaughter them when they are about 200 pounds to have around 160 in meat. I know these are not exact measurements but I hope it helps. Also It is better for the pig to be in a field, electric fencing will keep them in a lot better than wood. In the field the pig will eat gr and grubs but they will dig it up. One year we fenced two pigs in our garden to till it for us.
